CoDA Welcome the World for Dubai Duty Free Irish Open

The final countdown is on for the eagerly anticipated Dubai Duty Free Irish Open!

The City of Derry Airport team are honoured to welcome the world to the North West of Ireland as the finest professional golfers from across the globe as well as celebrities from the world of sport, music, TV and film are preparing to descend on the island ahead of the tournament which kicks off next Wednesday 4th – Sunday 8th July at Ballyliffin Golf Club in Donegal.

Hosted by the Rory Foundation, the European tour promises to be a memorable week where fans can enjoy world-class golf, music and entertainment, making for a special festival atmosphere in the majestic surroundings of Ballyliffin which is perched on the edge of the Inishowen Peninsula, offering stunning views of the famous hills of Donegal to the south and the Atlantic Ocean to the north.

Defending champion Jon Rahm, tournament host Rory McIlroy, Ryder Cup stars Rafa Cabrera Bello and Matthew Fitzpatrick, and local stars Graeme McDowell, Paul Dunne and Shane Lowry are just some of the famous faces confirmed for attendance in Donegal next week.
