This is an interesting role with a seasonal variation contract where you would work longer hours during the summer months and a reduced working week for winter months.

You will provide maintenance of all the Airport grounds including car park, airside critical areas and general grass areas.in accordance with regulations specified by CAA standards, and CoDA procedures and policies.

Once trained in airside procedures you would work on your own initiative and make decisions based on these standards and procedures in the interest of service, efficiency, and safety.

EXPERIENCED FIREFIGHTER / AIRPORT HAND

Applications will be accepted from experienced Firefighters who are trained and competent in the following areas:

  • Breathing apparatus wear
  • HGV driving
  • First Aid
  • Pump Operations
  • Ladder and hose operations including use of secondary medias.
  • Evidence of prior CAP 699 or firefighter competence training.
  • Hold a current Medical Certificate.
  • Full current driving licence
  • A minimum of 4 GCSE’s or equivalent
