The Open 2025
The Open is returning to the world renowned Royal Portrush from 13th – 20th July 2025. As the local Airport of the event, located just 40 minutes by road and 15 minutes by helicopter, City of Derry Airport looks forward to welcoming the world to the North West once again, following the huge success of 2019.
The Airport provides inbound connectivity for golf enthusiasts across the world, offering a convenient gateway to the entire Northwest of Ireland.

Single-ticket fares are available from the departing international airport, covering travel through London Heathrow right through to City of Derry Airport. Baggage can be checked in at the departing airport and collected at the final destination in City of Derry Airport for ease and convenience.
