City of Derry Airport’s Celebrates NEW Manchester Service

It is a joyous occasion for City of Derry Airport as Loganair’s inaugural flight to Manchester took off on Friday 24th May amid celebrations at City of Derry Airport.  The new daily service is available from just £39.99pp one way and brings fantastic news for the North West as it provides direct connectivity to one of the main hubs in the North of England and creates onward connectivity to an abundance of international destinations via Manchester.

One Month until NEW Manchester service takes flight!

The countdown is on…with just one month to go until Loganair’s first inaugural flight to Manchester scheduled to depart on May, 24th 2019.  This is fantastic news for the North West as it provides direct connectivity to one of the main hubs in the North of England and creates opportunities for onward connectivity to international destinations via Manchester International Airport.

Loganair Host Flights for School’s Cluster Programme

City of Derry Airport and Scottish airline, Loganair,  teamed up to provide an educational aviation experience for the local school children taking part in the Extended School’s Cluster Project, an initiative developed by Northern Ireland’s Department of Education. The scheme aims to improve levels of educational achievement for children and young people by providing the additional support they may require to help them reach their full potential.

Loganair Appointed to Operate London Route from City of Derry Airport

Derry City and Strabane District Council has confirmed it has agreed to appoint Loganair to operate the London Stansted route from City of Derry Airport. Welcoming the announcement, the Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council Cllr John Boyle praised the efforts of officers from Council, the City of Derry Airport and the Department for Transport for their work and commitment throughout the week to secure a replacement airline.
