This week marks a momentous occasion at City of Derry Airport as the airport team and Scottish airline, Loganair, celebrated 40 years since the inaugural commercial flight from City of Derry Airport to Glasgow back in 1979.
Loganair Host Flights for School’s Cluster Programme
City of Derry Airport and Scottish airline, Loganair, teamed up to provide an educational aviation experience for the local school children taking part in the Extended School’s Cluster Project, an initiative developed by Northern Ireland’s Department of Education. The scheme aims to improve levels of educational achievement for children and young people by providing the additional support they may require to help them reach their full potential.
Loganair’s NEW London Stansted Service Takes Flight!
Today, 27th February 2019, Loganair’s new service between City of Derry Airport, (CoDA), and London Stansted commenced operations. The route runs twice daily on a 49-seater jet aircraft with an early morning departure each day that is particularly suited to business travellers and commuters from the North West region.
